Co-founder & President
Trevor Rabie is a Toronto based developer, Founding Partner, and The President of Prive Capital Investment Fund I. Trevor has over two decades of experience in real-estate finance and development. He also brings a strong background in managing asset driven companies. During his tenure as Director of Richview Resources (2004-2008), he led the company to its ultimate acquisition by Cadillac Ventures Inc.
Trevor has a specialized background in wealth management, estate planning, and tax strategy both in Canada and abroad. Notably, he is an accomplished author having written several articles for prominent financial planning publications along with co-authoring the book Death & Taxes. In addition, he has made regular appearances on CFRB 1010 Radio’s “Money Talks” segment.
Trevor currently focuses on leading the Real Estate Financing & Investing group at Prive Capital.
Founding Member & Managing Partner
Matt Elkind is a seasoned entrepreneur and real estate investor. Over the last two decades his list of accolades include founding one of Toronto’s most successful brokerages, as well as being involved in all aspects real estate from bulk condo sales and property management to private lending and media publications.
Over the course of his career, Matt has been involved in over $2 billion dollars and counting in real estate transactions. His extensive experience and knowledge of the industry allows his complete immersion in all aspects of the business; including evaluating new land acquisitions, underwriting, marketing and sales.
Prive Capital Investment Fund is historically rooted in the real estate development business via the construction and sales of mid-rise condos in the city of Toronto. The fund was borne out of the objective of self-financing our development projects and those of our strategic partners.
PCIF is a mutual fund trust. Through its two limited partnerships, PCIF offers boutique debt and equity services focusing on capitalizing on wealth creation through the land development process to deliver returns to its investors while effectively managing downside risk.
Our management leverages their extensive experience in real estate development, construction, capital markets and marketing allowing us to identify and analyze opportunities with a holistic methodology.
